Oscars 2013 - Best And Worst Dressed

It's that time of the year when the Academy Awards are offered and we all (press, bloggers, designers, everyone) are making our critique on the Oscars red carpet fashion. As you all are well aware, I've had a similar post of best and worst dressed at the Oscars and I'll make a tradition to have a special post about this at every ceremony, every year. What's new for this year is my section of not the best but not the worst dressed either.

E acea perioada a anului cand a avut loc ceremonia premiilor Oscar si cand toti (presa, blogger, designeri, toata lumea de altfel) critica din punct de vedere vestimentar personalitatile prezente pe covorul rosu. Asa cum bine stiti (sau poate nu), am avut un post similar anul trecut, tot despre cei mai bine sau prost imbracati la premiile Oscar asa ca am sa fac din asta o traditie si voi crea un post special, in fiecare an pe 25 februarie, in care sa va vorbesc un pic despre alegerile inspirate sau mai putin inspirate ale celebritatilor prezente la premiile Oscar. Anul acesta o sa introduc si o sectiune de mijloc in care am sa includ actritele care nu au fost imbracate nici bine, dar nici rau.

 BEST DRESSED

Alicia Vikander

 She is wearing a beautiful Elie Saab gown. A very elegant dress made out of blue lace and sequins, unfortunately you can't see the back, which is opened.

Este imbracata intr-o frumoasa creatie, marca Elie Saab. O rochie foarte eleganta facuta din dantela bleu inserata cu paiete. Din nefericire nu puteti vedea spatele care este gol.

Naomi Watts

 She is wearing an Armani Prive silver sequined dress. The hole outfit (hair, accesories, dress) are very well put together.

Este imbracata intr-o rochie din paiete argintii semnata de Armani Prive. Intreaga tinuta (coafura, accesorii, rochie) este foarte bine alcatuita.

Jennifer Lawrence

She is wearing a Dior gown. A gorgeous ensemble, but maybe a bigger necklace wouldn't have hurt. 

Poarta o rochie Dior. Per ansamblu, aproape de perfectiune, poate ca un colier mai mare n'ar fi stricat.

Louise Roe

She is wearing a dress from Monique L'Huillier. A very delicate and elegant look.

Poarta o rochie marca Monique L'Huillier. O tinuta foarte delicata si eleganta.

 Jessica Chastain

In a gold Armani Prive gown she reminds us of the Hollywood golden age, doesn't she?

Intr'o rochie aurie Armani Prive, ne aminteste de epoca de aur a Hollywood'ului, nu'i asa?

Kristin Chenoweth

She is looking great in this Tony Ward dress, maybe she could have toned down a little bit with the make up.

Arata fenomenal in aceasta rochie marca Tony Ward, desi poate ar fi mers mai bine un machiaj nu atat de strident.

Amanda Seyfried

She looks regal in this Alexander McQueen dress.

Arata senzational in aceasta rochie semnata Alexander McQueen.

Catherine Zeta Jones

A great choice for Zeta Jones this Zuhair Murad gown.

O alegere minunata a Catherinei Zeta Jones, aceasta rochie Zuhair Murad.

Charlize Theron

Sandra Bullock 

 She is wearing an Elie Saab dress, a very good choice, maybe the purse could have been in silver (like the dress details) and not in gold.

Poarta o rochie creata de Elie Saab, o alegere extrem de buna, poate ca poseta ar fi mers mai bine pe argintiu (ca insertiile rochiei) si nu pe auriu asa cum este.

 Stacy Keibler

In a gorgeous Naeem Khan dress she looks stunning.

Arata fantastic in aceasta minunata creatie a lui Naeem Khan.

Jane Fonda

 Jane Fonda is looking younger by the day (I want to know her secret too) and she looks amazing in this Versace yellow dress.

Jane Fonda arata mai tanara pe zi ce trece (tare as vrea sa'i stiu si eu secretul) si arata fantastic in aceasta rochie Versace.

Amy Adams

 Lovely as always, Amy Adams in an Oscar de la Renta dress.

Adorabila ca de obicei, Amy Adams intr'o rochie Oscar de la Renta.

Queen Latifah

She is looking great in this Badgley Mischka white dress.

Arata superb in aceasta creatie Badgley Mischka.

Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek is looking great in this Alexander McQueen gown. Such an elegant look.

Salma Hayek arata genial in aceasta rochie Alexander McQueen. Foarte elegant.

WORST DRESSED

Helena Bonham Carter

Another miss for Helena Bonham Carter with this Vivienne Westwood dress. She looks as if she came from a scene in a horror movie.

Inca un rateu pentru Helena Bonham Carter cu aceasta rochie semnata Vivienne Westwood. Arata ca si cum ar fi iesit dintr'o scenda dintr'un film de groaza.

Brandi Glanville

She looks very trashy (pardon my language) in this extra revealing dress. Awful.

Arata foarte indecent in aceasta rochie, mai ca da sa cada de pe ea, ingrozitor.

 Tabatha Coffey

Well she is not looking good in this Mark Zunino dress, and the leather gloves are terrible.

Nu arata deloc bine in aceasta rochie creata de Mark Zunino, iar manusile de piele sunt groaznice.

Anne Hathaway

She usualy wears such pretty dresses, what happened now? She looks so bad in this Prada gown.

De regula poarta rochii atat de frumoase, ce s'a intamplat acum? Arata atat de rau in aceasta rochie de la Prada.

Nicole Kidman

 

This is an awful dress for Nicole Kidman, it looks very cheap, even though is from L'wren Scott.

O rochie ingrozitoare pentru Nicole Kidman, arata foarte ieftin, chiar daca este de la L'wren Scott.

 Olivia Munn

 The dress itself is not ugly, but it's not made for her. She is short, the dress was modified for sure and Olivia looks in it even shorter. The gown is from Marchesa.

Rochia in sine nu este urata, dar nu a fost facuta pentru ea. Olivia este mica de inaltime, rochia a fost sigur modificata si din cauza asta arata si mai mica de inaltime. Rochia este Marchesa.

 Sally Field

Another miss for Sally Field with this Valentino gown.

Inca un rateu pentru Sally Field cu aceasta rochie Valentino.

Nancy O'Dell

Not the best choice, this Mark Zunino dress. It reminds me of ice skating dresses and the dark skin doesn't go well at all.

Nu a fost o alegere inspirata aceasta rochie marca Mark Zunino. Imi aminteste de rochiile de pantinaj artistic, iar pielea bronzata nu da bine de loc cu aceasta culoare.

Kristen Stewart

She needs someone to remind her that she's not a teenager anymore. This Reem Acra gown is horrendous.

Cineva trebuie sa'i spuna ca nu mai este o adolescenta rebela. Iar aceasta rochie Reem Acra este groaznica.

Melissa McCarthy

She is just too plain in this David Meister dress, and the fabric looks kind of cheap. She has nothing special.

Arata stearsa in aceasta rochie marca David Meister, iar materialul e de o calitate tare proasta.

Kelly Rowland

This Donna Karan dress brings out every fault that Kelly has, it's not for her for sure.

Aceasta rochie de la Donna Karan nu face decat sa scoata in evidenta defectele pe care Kelly le are, si cu siguranta nu da bine.

Helen Hunt

I do appreciate her for choosing this low budget H&M dress, but it was a bad, bad choice, a dress shouldn't have wrinkles on every inch of the fabric.

O apreciez pentru curajul avut in a opta pentru o rochie de buget redus, marca H&M, dar a fost o alegere extrem de neinspirata, este inadmisibil ca o rochie sa aiba cute si sa se sifoneze peste tot.

Fan Bing Bing

She looks like a giant cupcake, which is not good if it's not supposed to be eaten. The clutch and the bracelet are awful, they look very cheap, and the colour of this Marchesa gown is way too powerful.

Arata ca o briosa uriasa, ceea ce nu e bine daca nu este de mancat. Clutch'ul si bratara arata foarte ieftine, iar culoare acestei rochii Marchesa este mult prea saritoare in ochi.

MIDDLE SECTION (NOT BEST/NOT WORST)

Well here we have a bunch of dresses that don't step out of the crowd with anything special, but are not bad either, so mid way (the have some misses here and there).
